Kisah Orang Takut Nak Travel

Terbaca tadi kat group  1 soalan pompuan ni tanya.. tah dari lubuk mana tah dia duduk, tanya soalan macam katak bawah tempurung je bunyi dia.   Cuba lah bawak2 travel pegi Malaysia ke.. Brunei ke.. Perth ke,  biar hilang keparanoid'tan tu.

"Korang sanggup tak pegi negara2 yang menindas kaum wanita??."   Soalnya in English.

Menindas wanita??.    Ohhh banyak tengok drama la ni agaknya.


Nasib ada sorang Minah Saleh ni reply dan aku gembira dengan jawapannya.  So aku safe kat sini..

"I have traveled and spent time in many of the Middle Eastern countries including Saudi Arabia as a single female. I have been treated and respected in those countries much better than I am in ****** (kat kampung dia). I was taken care of and treated wonderfully because I was a single female. 

Until you travel to these places, make an effort to understand their culture actually meet and talk to the people you cannot know. I was not required to wear hijab in Saudi. I did wear an abaya and found it surprisingly freeing not to have to worry about what to wear or clothing that was to tight, it was very unexpected. 

I went to a wonderful show while I was in Saudi which had a great market where all the businesses were women owned and operated. They were not dressed as we see them in the media. They wore beautiful colors and were happy, beautiful, intelligent well educated and very interesting ladies to talk to. They also have the most beautiful eye makeup applications I have ever seen! I would go back in a heartbeat."
